imgFred Ingle D.V.M. was born in Wadsworth, Ohio and is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. His career has been spent with the Decatur Veterinary Hospital, the USDA, and in private practice in the Gainesville, GA area. He is a recipient of the Georgia Food Animal Practitioner of the Year and Matt Moore Heart for Honduras Award and is a member of the Hall County Agriculture Hall of Fame. He and his wife Suzanne have been married 49 years and have two children, one of whom is also a D.V.M. He is a member of Gainesville First Baptist Church and was past president of the Gainesville Breakfast Optimist Club.

Dr. Ingle was introduced to HOI in 1991 by Dr. James Thompson, past HOI Director, client and friend. He has been co-chair of the Agriculture Committee and a member of the Board of Directors since he began taking mission trips to Honduras in the early 1990s.
