Greg Thompson is senior director of corporate communications for Chick-fil-A, Inc. Prior to joining Chick-fil-A, Greg spent 25 years in various global communications management roles for IBM in the U.S. and Asia, including more than five years living in Tokyo, Japan. Greg joined IBM after a career as a photographer, sports writer, political writer, editor and bureau chief for three newspapers and The Associated Press. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University.

Greg also is involved as a volunteer and consultant with several faith-based ministries and NGOs around the world. He serves on the board of SCORE International and the Southeast Region board for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and does work for such organizations as FCA Japan, CRASH Japan and Wheaton College.

He and his wife, Mary Belle, have been married more than 33 years and have two sons: Will, who is an FCA missionary in Japan and is married to Kimberly, and Andrew, who lives in Portland, Oregon as a communication consultant and is married to Elizabeth. Both Will and Andrew graduated from Wheaton College.

Greg and Mary Belle reside in Marietta, Georgia.
