John Pratt is a senior partner with Kilpatrick Townsend and Stockton, LLP law firm, where he is a patent attorney and leads the intellectual property practice. Mr. Pratt is listed as #1 in the 2011 and 2012 editions of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business for Intellectual Property. An accomplished woodworker, furniture maker and woodworking tool expert, Mr. Pratt devotes a portion of his practice to tool and furniture patent matters.
He has served on the HOI board of directors since its founding, and he has provided the organization with wise counsel and sound judgment for many years. Mr. Pratt has an engineering degree from Clemson University and a law degree from Harvard University. He is also currently on the faculty of the University of Georgia School of Law. He lives in Atlanta with his wife Teresa.
