Just last November Wilson was a part of HOI history. He and 51 other students became Hope Middle School’s largest graduating class to date. In addition to being the largest class, 98% of the students have chosen to continue their studies compared to the area average of 12%. Wilson and his peers are a powerful testimony to the effects of education on the youth of the Agalta Valley. Next year Wilson will be attending high school in Catacamas to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a mechanic. Upon graduation, he wants to return to the Valley, start his own business, and help strengthen his community.
HOI’s vision for student achievement doesn’t end with Wilson and his classmates. We are dedicated to partnering with the young people of the Agalta Valley to assist them in attaining their educational goals. When you make a gift towards our goal of raising $40,000 by the end of the year you help empower students like Wilson to take control of their future and create better communities for their families. Please consider making a gift today.
Thank you partnering with us and the people of Central America in making their dreams a reality!
