RAYMOND WALKER

In 1987, Raymond Walker founded The Walker Companies. Under his direction, the firm has become a recognized leader of industrial location consulting and real estate services throughout the nation. He has completed transactions valued over $900 million for clients including Home Depot, AutoZone, Georgia-Pacific, Continental Tire and Sara Lee.

Prior to formation of the company, Raymond spent ten years with Cushman & Wakefield, and as Senior Vice President, created and headed their Regional Industrial Department. He held the distinction of being C & W’s top producer for the Southeast region in 1984.

Raymond holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia. He is a long-standing member in the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and holds the honor of completing the largest SIOR transaction in the nation in 1986. He served as Georgia Chapter SIOR President in 1998 and 1999.  Other professional affiliations include the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and memberships in the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and the Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC).

Raymond and his wife Heidi have two sons, Clark and Ryan. His interests include global Christian missions and numerous outdoor activities. He is a life member and past Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Wesleyan School in Atlanta.
